Budding Artists

My girls love to paint (or anything creative, for that matter). So when thier cousin Ava was over this week for a sleepover, they asked if they could paint. I got them all set up in the garage, and they got to work on their masterpieces. They turned out lovely, and they had a blast doing it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The first thing Riley said to me this morning was, "Happy St. Patrick's day, Mommy!" She was super concerned about making sure everyone was wearing green today. She didn't want anyone to get pinched:)She drew this picture in school. This leprechaun named O'Riley(she got a big kick out of that) visited their classroom before they got to school and made a huge mess, and left green footprints all over their classroom. She insisted that the picture of O'Riley was in our picture as well.

18 Weeks 4 Days

What a difference a month makes! I am posting another belly pic at the request of family and friends. Sorry if you get sick of them. This is a picture of me TODAY, so it is as current as it gets!

Snoozing

Kam is a busy boy. This is pretty much the only time he holds still. I went in to wake him up yesterday to go meet some friends at the park for lunch, and he just looked so sweet.

Happy Birthday To Me!

My birthday was last week. Jace came home from work early (he tried to get the day off, but his boss said no. Lame), and he brought me these Divine cupcakes from Gigi's cupcake shop. So yummy! As you can see, the cupcake-to-frosting ratio is quite literally 50/50. It was such a treat! Later that evening, a couple of friends took me out for ice cream at the Golden Spoon. Also so yummy! I got lot's of phone calls, cards, and drop-by visitors. Thanks everyone who made me feel so loved on my birthday!

Speaking of Jace's birthday...

As I said before, yesterday was Jace's birthday! I just didn't want to miss the opportunity to say what an amazing husband, dad, and friend he is. We are so lucky to have this man in our lives. He is always so considerate of how I am feeling, and always puts his family first...always! Jace is a roll-on-the-ground and play with the kids kind of dad, and all of our kids absolutely ADORE him. He is exactally what I have always wanted the father of my children to be like. He doesn't take life too seriously. He even tells me that he thinks I am beautiful, even when I am wearing my ugly gray sweatpants, my hair is in a ponytail, and I have (most likely), not even had a shower yet. That is love, people! I can't say how much I love Jace. The world a better place to be when he is around!

Just a few random pics through the years:

Holy Estrogen, Batman!

Yesterday was Jace's birthday, and we had an ultrasound first thing in the morning. We were hoping to find out what we are having, but not betting on it. It was our lucky day! We found out that we are going to be having identical girls!!! Oh my goodness! What a great birthday suprize! We are super excited and can't wait to meet them. Our poor little Kam will be surrounded by girls. Someday, I think he will make a great husband. He will have to learn to be REALLY good at communicating with girls. I don't think he will have much of a choice :)

Just a fun little fact: Jace noticed that when the ultrasound tech was measuring one of the bones it came in at a whopping 2cm! So crazy! Here is a profile pic of both of our little honey's:
