Easter Morning

Nice pose Alyssa and Adriana.

You would think that I could get a better picture of Riley. She is so used to us taking her picture, that sometimes she won't even look at the camera. She will say Cheese a million times, and never look up from what she is doing.

Here are some pictures from Easter morning. You would never know from the pictures, but Riley really was excited about her Easter basket. She was tired...but excited.

Easter Egg Scramble

On Saturday, we went to the community Easter Egg Scramble (I think that they call it a Scramble instead of an Easter egg hunt because they just throw the eggs and candy on the ground, and the kids pick it up. There isn't much "hunting" going on). The girls had fun picking up eggs and candy. There were tons of kids, and they were some of the youngest kids in their group, so they didn't get a ton of candy, but thry thought that they got a lot. I guess it is all about prospective.

Swimming

While Shanna and Bjorn were here, we went swimming at PDRC. It was kristian's first time swimming, so that was exciting. He loved it.

Tape...The Cure All

Riley dropped one of her Easter eggs on the floor and it "bwoke." No surprize here...she wanted to fix it with some tape. According to Riley, anything can be fixed with tape.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Riley, Alyssa, and Adri were excited to color Easter eggs. They had a good time, and amazingly, we didn't even have that big of a mess to clean up after we were done.

Kristian

Shanna and Bjorn came to visit us over Easter weekend. We had a blast! I just thought this picture of Kristian was cute. It seemed like whenever Payton saw that he was in his car seat, she had to go and check it out. She would crawl up and look at him. She was fascinated by him.

Buttons

Riley still loves lining things up in a row. Usually she does it with crayons (as you have seen before), but it has extended to other objects now. In these pictures, She is lining up buttons. Notice how she has stacked smaller buttons on top of larger ones. This is something that keeps her entertained for quite a while. Anyone who knows her Daddy, knows that she clearly got her organizational skills from him.

Dressing Up

Last night Jace and I were in the living room, when all of the sudden, Riley walks in wearing this get-up. She had gotten into my drawers and found this beautiful ensemble. She had just gotten out of the bath...that is why her hair is so georgeous. Amazingly, she even matches.

First Time Swimming

On Wednesday Lexi and I took our girls swimming. It was Payton's first time. When I put her in, she cried because it felt a little chilly at first. But that only lasted for about 20 seconds. Then she was super happy the rest of the time. She just hung out, and smiled and giggled. The water was really quite warm, and the girls had such a great time. Riley loves swimming, so I am glad that Payton loved it to. It looks like we could be spending a lot of time at the pool this year!
