This is what it's like to be a fly on the wall while Payton is playing by herself. I took this video of Payton while I was "reading a book." It is kind of long, but she sings a funny little song towards the end. Priceless:)

Hannah and Gabbie
Layin' in the Leaves
This weekend we went to our friends' house to take some pictures of thier sweet girls. Kam was so cute just hanging out drining his bottle the whole time. I don't think he even moved a muscle the whole time we were shooting. He was just content to be outside (the kid would live outside if I let him), and drink his bottle. He looked so cute, that I couldn't resist a few pictures. Man he sure is a cute boy:)

Playing
Payton was playing so cute with Kam yesterday. I had to document it because this doesn't always happen. Payton is still pretty rough with him, so he isn't always a fan of her. She is getting better and better all the time. Kam just likes getting into anything that she is playing with. I think now that Riley is at school three days a week, Payton is glad that she still has someone to play with besides Mom.

Payton's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, please bless us to be good, bless us to be healthy. Bless us to be good. Bless us to be healthy. Bless us to be good. Bless Us to be healthy. Bless Kambell to grow up like a daddy. Bless us to be good. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Broomfield Days Parade
This weekend we went to the Broomfield Days Parade. It was fun, but a bit cold. Kam pretty much just hung out in the stroller the whole time drinking his bottle. The girls had fun catching the candy(isn't that the whole point of going to the parade in the first place?), and watching the dancers, and the marching bands. It was a good time.

Sunday Pics
I know, I know. I haven't been very good at updating my blog lately. I feel like we have been so busy, and yet haven't done anything very exciting or blog worthy. We went to the Duchesne County Fair, and had a great time, but unfortunately didn't take any pictures. Otherwise we have pretty much just been working on the house. I think we are finally done for a while. I will post some before and after pics at some point this week. In the mean time here are some pics we took of the kids in the backyard this afternoon.

Love that Laugh!
Just a cute video of Kam from my phone. It is not high quality by any stretch of the imagination, but it is still sweet.

Kindergarten!
Our Riley had her first day of Kindergarten today! It is such a bittersweet day for me. Riley has been looking forward to this for a long time(especially since I homeschooled her for preschool). Just a few things I want to remember about today: Riley REALLY wanted a purple backpack, and was so excited when we found one! She woke up at about 6:30, and she was ready to go! I on the other hand have had mixed feelings about it. I just want to keep her home forever! I am just not ready for her to grow up. I just hope we have done enough, and given her the tools she will need to make good choices even though she will be surrounded with all kinds of different influences throughout her school years. She has been such a joy to have around, and we will miss her terribly while she is at school (sigh). Riley loves to learn, and I know she will be an excelent student. I think that her teacher is VERY lucky to have Riley in her classroom. She is a gem! Today is such a big day for her!

24th of July
Riley and Payton Sepnt 10 days at my mom's house in July (sorry no pics of that, but pics to come of what Jace and I did while they were gone). We were so happy to see them when we met them in Manassa for the pioneer days celebration. We had a lot of fun, and since Payton's birthday is actually on th 24th, we had a mini birthday party. Mostly we just had cake, and a few presents. Riley rode on Grandma Kaye's float (have to get a good pic from my sis-in-law) and had a blast, Payton rode for the last part of the parade on the second day because she wasn't about to be left out(once again, pics from my sis-in-law). She was SUPER cute, and waved and smiled her best smile the WHOLE time. She was a natrual. It was a fun time!
