I think we should just move in with our pediatrition! We have pretty much lived at her office this whole week. Between both girls with broncialitis, and needing breathing treatments, oxygen, or both, we have had several visits and follow-up appointments. I think we are past the worst of it. I think today will be one of the last days of breathing treatments...thank goodness. Riley doesn't mind them if she can watch a cartoon, but Payton isn't a huge fan of it. I will be glad to be done with sickness at our house...at least until Jace and I get it!

Paytons First Christmas
Since Riley was still not doing great, Jace held her and I helped Her open her presents. Thankfully Payton made friends with Ulcle Heath and he helped her open her presents. Thanks Heath! SHe was pretty cute. Of course She was more interested in the wrapping paper than her gifts. Classic 5 month old. She did get some cute gifts...including this adoreable hat from her Daddy. She reminded me so much of Riely on her first Christmas. They look so much alike as babies. Feel free to compare(the last two pictures are from Riley's first Christmas).
Christmas Morning
It was nice to have the whole Martin family (almost) together for Christmas. Riley was feeling a bit better after havign the oxygen all night. She wasn't too excited, but she at least felt good enough that she wanted to open some presents. Then she spent pretty much the rest of the day sleeping. Jace and I got some cool gifts.

Sick for Christmas
Riley Seemed to be getting sicker and sicker as time went by. She was lethargic, and slept constantly. So in the late afternoon an Christmas Eve, we took her to a doctor. We found out that she had either a broncial infection, the early stage of pnemonia, or a form of RSV. They said that no matter which one of those she had, they would give her the same treatment, so they didn't want to waste our time with x-rays and tests, and they let us go home. Since she was really lethargic, and her breathing was labored, they checked her pulsox (not sure how to spell that) and found out that her oxygen level was only at 80%. So she had to go on Oxygen. She was resistent to weraing it and she had to have it though the night, so Jace, Anji, and I took shifts holding it through the night. Let's just say we didn't get much sleep. Christmas ended up being more stressful than anything for us. We took her to the doctor the day after Christmas and she was able to get off the oxygen, and is now on her way to recovery.
Tubing
On Christmas Eve, The whole Martin clan went tubing. We let Riley go down once a tiny hill with Jace, then she spent the rest of the time in the car with Grandma Kaye. At the end, a bunch of us (eight of us I think) hooked together in a tube train and sped down the hill. It was a pretty good laugh. We had a really great time, except for the fact that Riley was sick...we just didn't know how sick yet. There were a few spills, but nobody got hurt. Overall, it was a fun tubing trip.

Skeet Shooting
Every time Jace and I are in Utah for Thanksgiving, we go skeet shooting with my family. We had a blast this year. We usually just shoot shotguns, but this year we got a chance to do some target shooting with Shanna's pistol. I was much better at that. I pretty much stink at skeet shooting. But it is still a lot of fun.

Showing Off
Taking It All In
Although it was a long drive, Jace and I enjoyed some amazing snow-covered scenery on our way out to Utah for Thanksgiving. We drove a different way this time than we usually do, so it was a welcomed change of pace for us. The girls enjoyed the scenery of the back of their eyelids for much of the drive. It was nice to sit back and just take it all in.
