I always like when other people post random things about themselves. I find it highly entertaining. So, I figured that I would give it a go.
1. I am an open book. I am not what you would consider to be a private person. Which means that those of you who know me really well, will most likely already know most of the things on this list.
2. I love to try new things, but don't always stick to them for a long time.
3. Being a stay at home mom may cause some to think that I have no "real" ambitions in life. Not so. I just figure that I will have my whole life to fulfill my dreams after I don't have little ones at home anymore. So in the meantime, I am always tyring new things to keep my life interesting.
4. I hate laundry...no, scratch that. I LOATH doing laundry. This means that if you come to my house unannounced (even if you come announced), you will most likely find laundry baskets full of clothes. At least (most of the time) it is clean laundry. So, in other words, if you find laundry offensive, then maybe you should steer clear of our house.
5. I hate having a messy house, but unfortunately, mine is rarely as clean as I would like it to be.
6. I LOVE my ugly gray sweatpants. They are about four sizes too big, and If they weren't so unflattering, I may even consider wearing them indefinately. I am hoping that Jace secretly thinks they are sexy. Haha.
7. I am a carb junkie. I love carbs in any form. Potatoes, pasta, bread, rice, cake, it doesn't matter, I love it all.
8. If I had the money, I would re-decorate my house every six months. I love change, and something about having new and interesting things around gives me more ambition to clean my house.
9. I hate to excersize, but love to eat. Go figure!
10. I am a sucker for a love story. Doesn't matter if it is a book, or a movie, or real life.
11. Over the last year I have taught myself how to play the guitar...sort of. I know several chords, and can play several songs, but I still have A LONG WAYS to go. But man I sure love it. If it was in my budget I would take lessons, but for now, I take what I do know (and what I pick up along the way) and strum away my stress. I like to call it "six string therapy." Not to mention that is makes the girls dance, and sing, and laugh, and that is enough to change even the worst of moods.
12. I don't have a favorite color. Seriously. Maybe I have some sort of commitment issue. Who knows.
13. I have the BEST husband in the world. If you think you do, you are wrong. I'm just sayin'.
14. I always forget to charge my cell phone. Drives Jace Crazy.
15. I am not a huge fan of winter. Snow is beautiful, but cold, and I am pretty much a sissy when it comes to being cold. So, natrually I live in Colorado.
16. Christmas is my favorite Holiday.
17. I love a good hoodie.
18. I love to cook. Always have. I also love to see others enjoying the food that I have made (because isn't that the whole point).
19. Being married to a photographer, and in turn becoming one myself, makes it hard to blog about things that are not accompanied by a picture...because a picture REALLY IS worth a thousand words. As you can imagine, this post is a bit painful for me.
20. My kids are my whole world! Everyting I do, every decision I make revolves around them.
21. I like reality T.V. It is sort of a guilty pleasure. I guess watching how crazy other people are makes me feel more normal.
22. I love my minivan, but feel way to young to drive it. It isn't cool enough for me. Haha.
23. I always wanted to do hair, and I am glad that it is something I can do and be home with my kids.
24. After we took a vacation to Hawaii two years ago (best vacay ever), I decided that I need vacations in my life. You know the kind that involves me, a beach, a book, yummy food, and some shopping. I would vacation four times a year if I could. Maybe after I win the lottery, which is unlikely, since I don't even buy lottery tickets.
25. I am an extravert. If given a choice between being alone, and being around family and friends, I would always choose the latter.
26. When put in a room with my best friend, I instantly turn into a 15 year old. Not sure how it happens, but it does. Love you Jackie!
27. I like to sew, but I am not really that great at it.
28. I need music in my life. I might die without my ipod. In fact, Jace knows that the real way to my heart is not flowers(which I love), but rather an itunes gift card.
29. I like comments on my blog. It is fun to hear what people think of this crazy life that we are living. So, don't be shy.

Updating My Walls
Well, it has been a while, but it is time to finally update the pictures in our house. Here are some of my faves. I may be partial, but I just might have the most beautiful kids ever! It's okay if you agree with me :)
Seasonal Confusion
It seems that we have a bit of seasonal confusion going on at our house. Beanies and swimwear, that's how we roll! We did our swimming suit shopping for the summer, and I let the girls choose which suit they wanted. They insisted on being "twins." They were running around singing, "twins. twins, twins!" It was pretty funny.
